Three of the following acrylic paintings are imaginary landscapes that emerged from the random, accidental brush cleaning/spill patterns on boards that previously lined my studio bench-top. They were resolved in much the same way as the primeval geological chaos became mantled in precious topsoil and plant life that gave some sense of recognisable order, places with identity. The fourth shows land forms unchanged for eons.
